I'm an award-winning audio producer and journalist who specializes in stories about people, economies, and the tensions where they meet. I currently produce the San Francisco Chronicle's daily news podcast Fifth & Mission.

 

My previous audio work has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered, KQED's Forum, the Alaska Public Media network, and National Geographic's investigative podcast Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller.

When not hunting for wild b-roll, you can find me shamelessly promoting the young minds at YR Media. I also teach podcasting and multimedia journalism courses at the University of California-Berkeley.
